Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the nation on Tuesday at 10 am. PM Modi is likely to make an announcement in regard to nationwide lockdown which is scheduled to end on April 14.
He had on March 25 announced 21-day lockdown in the country to tackle the threat of Coronavirus. According to reports, the government is planning to extend the lockdown for two more weeks.
On Saturday, the PM had had a video-conference with chief ministers of the different states during which both sides agreed that an extension to the lockdown is required in the fight against the deadly coronavirus.
