Players audition for WTC final as Team India play intra-squad match in Southampton

Just seven days to go for World Test Championship (WTC) final, Team India is gearing up for the summit clash against New Zealand. India and New Zealand will lock horns in the final of the WT WTC at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton from June 18.

The official report stated that as a part of the preparation for the WTC team India is playing an intra-squad match to get into the groove. BCCI shared few glimpses of set-up in which players were seen toiling hard while playing the match. BCCI also shared few other glimpses of highly intense practice session of the Indian Cricket Team which proves Kohli and other players preparation is going well.

Meanwhile, the Indian cricket team had landed in Southampton on June 3. The New Zealand team already in the UK for their bilateral series against England and the team will be a movie from the ECB bio-secure environment into the WTC final bubble on June 15 and will be subject to regular testing prior to and post-arrival of Southampton.
