BJP party MLA from Shikhohabad district Firozabad, U.P. has resigned from the party before Elections. In a statement, he said ” Many other leaders will also join Swami Prasad Maurya and support whatever decision he takes. He is our leader. ”

Lately, Swami Prasad Maurya joined the Samajwadi Party in presence of former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav. He said he switched to SP because of the grave oppression of OBCs, Dalits, unemployed, farmers, and small businessmen by Yogi Aditya Nath Government”.
