Mukesh Khanna’s sister dies of lung congestion after fighting Covid

While Mukesh Khanna was still dealing with death hoax, he got another shock as his only sister passed away in Delhi. The Shaktimaan fame actor lost his elder sister, Kamal Kapoor, to a lung infection. She was battling the novel coronavirus for the past 12 days but had recovered from it. Mukesh took to his Instagram handle to share the heartbreaking news and said that the tragic demise has shocked him and his entire family.

MUKESH KHANNA LOSES HIS ELDER SISTER

Taking to his Instagram handle, Mukesh shared a family photo featuring his elder sister. He wrote a lengthy note along with it in Hindi which roughly translates to, “Yesterday, I struggled for hours to tell people that my death rumours are fake. But I didn’t know that another harsh reality was upon me. Today, my only elder sister, Kamal Kapoor, passed away in Delhi. I am heartbroken by her death. The entire family is in shock. After fighting off Covid in 12 days, she died due to lung congestion. I don’t know what God is planning. Trust me, for the first time in my life, I have shaken completely. My respects and prayers for her. Rest in Peace (sic).”
