Lockdown extended in TamilNadu till June 14
The Government of Tamil Nadu has extended the Covid – 19 lockdown till 14 June ,with new relaxations. Keeping in mind the 11 Hotspot district and the rest of the state, new guidelines have been issued.
The relaxations are applicable to all districts other than the 11 Hotspot namely Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Karur, Namakkal, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Mayiladuthurai.
The relaxations that are provided include standalone shops selling grocery ,vegetables ,flowers, stationary shops can function from 6 am to 5 pm. However fish markets and slaughter houses will be open only for wholesale sales. District administration ordered to set up more than one such market in open space.
Housekeeping staff is allowed but only after e – registration. Autos with 2 passengers and cabs with 3 passengers are allowed as well with proper e – paas.
The residents have been advised to make purchase from nearby shops and avoid unnecessary stepping out of their homes.
