In view of the extremely poor condition due to Corona epidemic, a lockdown has been announced for 6 days in Delhi from 10 am to 5 am Monday. This decision was taken in the meeting of Chief Minister and Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “A lockdown is being imposed in Delhi for 6 days from 10 am tonight to 5 am next Monday. About 23,500 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours.
The infection rate has gone up tremendously. “There is a huge shortage of beds in hospitals in Delhi. ICU beds are almost exhausted. There are less than 100 ICU beds left. There is a shortage of medicines.”
On Sunday, 25,462 new cases of covid were reported in a single day on Sunday and the rate of infection increased to 29.74 percent. The rate of infection is 29.74 percent, which means that almost every third sample in Delhi is found to be infected.
In Delhi, 161 more patients died due to infection in the last 24 hours. A day earlier, 24,375 new cases of covid-19 were reported and 167 patients died.
According to the latest bulletin, with the arrival of these new cases in Delhi, the total number of infected people in the national capital has increased to 8,53,460 so far, while the death toll has increased to 12,121.
A total of 85,620 tests were conducted a day earlier including 56,015 RT-PCR probes and 29,605 rapid antigen probes.
