STF (Special Task Force arrested Nepali citizen Muslim) named Salim and he was living in a madrasa hiding his identity. Salim had recovered Aadhaar card, photocopy of Nepali passport, educational certificate and mobile phone made through dud documents. It is feared that he was involved in a deep conspiracy in Ayodhya by joining with the anti-national forces.
ADG STF Amitabh Yash says that Salim came to Ayodhya after the Supreme Court’s decision to bring Ram Janmabhoomi temple and was staying here in Madrasa, Salim is a resident of Laxanpur Nepalganj, Nepal. I had also opened a savings account at Hempur branch of Allahabad Indian Bank in Shravasti. Salim had recorded three different birth dates in his document. During interrogation, Salim stated that he also took two Indian mobile SIM cards. Two Nepali SIM cards were also recovered from Salim’s possession. He was also in touch with citizens of Pakistan and other countries through internet apps in mobile phones. Salim lived in a madrasa located in Khivaran in Inayat Nagar police station area in Ayodhya.
