Palwal | An illegal firecracker manufacturing unit was uncovered by the police in Manpur village under the jurisdiction of the Mundakati police station. During the raid, officials seized a substantial amount of finished firecrackers and raw explosive materials. One individual was taken into custody at the scene, while the primary suspect—believed to be the factory owner—fled and remains at large.
According to District Police Spokesperson Sanjay Khadyan, authorities received a tip-off late on the night of October 16 about a firecracker factory operating unlawfully within a walled compound in the fields near Manpur village. Acting on the information, a police team conducted a swift raid and apprehended a man caught red-handed while manufacturing firecrackers.
During initial questioning, the arrested suspect identified himself as Mohil, a resident of Swamika village. He revealed that the illegal operation was being run by a man named Allu, also known as Alimuddin, from Hathin. He also confirmed that the factory had no legal license to produce explosives or firecrackers.
