Highest ever Covid recoveries in a single day in India

As per the data by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India has recorded daily recoveries of more than 4 lakh Covid-19 patients in a single day for the first time.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare thanked the Healthcare workers and the Frontline workers as the recoveries cross 4 lakhs in a single day. This was a landmark since it is the highest ever recoveries recorded in a single day. A list of covid recoveries state wise provides further data.

The average daily recovery of more than 3,55,944 cases has been recorded in the last 14 days, the health ministry added. It was also observed that only ten states contributed to 75.77% of the recoveries. Kerala takes the first place since the recoveries almost touch 1 lakh there. The next highest number of recoveries were recorded in Maharshtra with almost 48,000 recoveries. Karnataka, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana and Chattisgarh follow in the respective order.

2,63,533 new cases were registered in the last 24 hours in India. Currently the total active covid cases in India are  33,53,765. It now comprises 13.29% of the country’s total positive cases, the health ministry added.
