On Tuesday, PM Narendra Modi will launch the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 (PMUY) scheme via video conference in the Mahoba area of Uttar Pradesh, according to the Prime Minister’s office. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will attend from Mahoba, a spokeswoman said.
The prime minister will hand over LPG connections, engage with Ujjwala recipients, and address the country during the occasion. According to the spokeswoman, the scheme’s first phase provided 1,47,43,862 LPG connections to the state’s underprivileged families. The second phase of the Ujjwala scheme will benefit those families who were left out of the first round, he said.
The application can be made offline by filling out the form and submitting it to the local LPG distribution agency. In the online option, the applicant can connect to the official website pmujjwalayojana.com and download the application form, which must then be submitted to the nearest LPG center.
