The government’s next target, according to farmer activist Rakesh Tikait, may be media houses, and he urged its stakeholders to join the months-long movement against three central agri legislation to rescue themselves.
“Everyone should join us. The next target will be media houses. If you want to be saved, join us, else you too will suffer,” said the senior functionary of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) in Chhattisgarh capital Raipur.
Tikait, who will speak to a ‘kisan mahapanchayat’ later in the day in Rajim, Gariaband district, said the largest issue was the lack of minimum support prices for crops and vegetables.
