Congress leader and former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot has demanded the Central Government to repeal the agricultural law and not make it a prestige issue. The pilot, after consulting the farmers and the states, asked the new head to draft the agricultural law. Pilot said on Thursday that the BJP could not convince its allies like the Akali Dal on agricultural laws. So how does she expect that farmers will accept these agricultural laws. He also said that the Congress’s stand on agricultural laws is the same. The party has never supported such things which are contrary to the interests of the farmers, whereas the BJP has a U-turn.Pilot said that Rajasthan has been disappointed with this budget because there has been complete silence about the East Rajasthan Canal project, pending rail projects, new national highways. Expressing concern over the fiscal deficit reaching 9.5 per cent, it is said that the government’s declaration of capital expenditure looks difficult to complete because the government has increased the capital expenditure by 34 per cent in a public pleasing manner, while the fiscal deficit exceeds the FRBM limit Showed four percent more. He said that the middle class has been cheated by not giving any exemption in the income tax limit, while there is nothing new in the budget for farmers, unemployed, youth and MSMEs, this budget will remain status quo.
