According to reports, the much-talked Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) will not be introduced this year, and the Delhi University (DU) would continue to offer merit-based admittance.

The undergraduate (UG) admissions procedure will commence on August 2, while the enrollment procedure for postgraduate (PG), MPhil, and Ph.D. programs will start on July 26. The timetable of PG entrance examinations will be published when the registration procedure is completed.

The Ministry of Education, on the other hand, has yet to make a final judgement on CUCET. The unified admission examination is part of the National Education Policy, which was enacted last year, and has been under consideration since the CBSE delayed Class XII board exams due to the Covid issue.
