The recorded cases of COVID-19 in India has by passed the 29,000 mark. According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, there are 29,435 Coronavirus cases in India, which includes 6868 cured/discharged patients. 934 people have died due to coronavirus, while one patient was migrated.
The total number of active cases are 21,632. The recorded deaths are 62 and 1543 new cases in the last 24 hours due to Coronavirus. This is the sharpest ever increase in death cases in India.
As of now the Coronavirus cases in India have reached 29,000-mark even as the Central government working on its lockdown strategy. The over a month long lockdown across the country is scheduled to end on May 3rd. However, chief ministers of the maximum states have suggested an extension of lockdown to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the virtual meeting held yesterday.
