The coronavirus outbreak that originated in China has infected more than a million people across the globe. It is extremely contagious and could lead to massive havoc in the world if it isn’t controlled soon. The year 2020 has seen a bad start for everyone; it is just a phase that won’t last long. World will surely win the battle against the coronavirus.

Let’s get an astrological insight in terms with COVID-19. According to Vedic Astrology, “The unique conjunction of Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu gave rise to Corona pandemic.” Jupiter signifies knowledge, education, wealth and prosperity. Saturn, the chief justice of the universe, is the planet that releases karmic forces so individuals can walk the Dharmic or right path. The fruits of ones deeds in past and present lives are judged by this planet. Rahu and Ketu are known as shadow planets which generally produce malefic effects.

The first warning signal was the solar eclipse which occurred on 26th December, 2019 with the above mentioned planets conjunct in the zodiac sign of Sagittarius, signifying pandemic events. The effects of eclipses are usually felt 7 days after and before and it reduces the Pranic life force energy on Earth as the sun’s vital rays get blocked. We were too busy among ourselves to notice Mother Nature’s warning signals. The eclipse began the journey of nature’s lessons for mankind with initiation of this deadly virus. The COVID-19 was first reported in late December which was after the eclipse.

According to the planetary alignment the peak of the virus spread was supposed to happen in early days of April and will begin to slow down later that month. After which the Sun will enter Aries, and since it’s the king of all planets it’s sure to give us strength and immunity. It has been predicted that India will witness the eradication of coronavirus only after May but the virus would have a major impact on the world by then. There are high chances that the virus might re- enter some parts of the world and give pernicious results as the lethal conjunction of the planets,Jupiter and Ketu would be reformed.

The probability of the virus to get subside is estimated in September. There are high possibilities that the vaccine will come into existence by September. Till then it’s very necessary that we include the consumption of hot vittles in our diet. We should also adhere to the social distancing guidelines prescribed by the government and cut down on all non essential external movements. All necessary precautions such as avoiding smoking and alcohol consumption is very necessary for now as they degrade the immune system. A return to Sattvic diet and lifestyle can also help us maintain our overall health and avoid other illness that may cause complications.

It is important to keep in mind the old saying, “This too shall pass.” We need to keep our hopes high and pray with faith and belief in the Gods we trust.
