The Congress has claimed that the transportation of voting machines at nighttime is questionable, citing anomalies in the storage and handling of EVMs in various areas of India. Rajeev Shukla, a Congress politician, spoke at a news conference in New Delhi on Tuesday, urging the Election Commission to take remedial action to ensure the integrity of the voting process.
“We have got allegations of strange movement of EVMs in Ghazipur, Jhansi, Dumariyaganj, Saran, Chamoli, Fatehabad, and Punjab as well,” Congress spokesperson Rajeev Shukla told reporters at the party’s headquarter.
According to Rajeev Shukla, a team of opposition parties would discuss the issue with the Election Commission on Tuesday.
