To prevent cheating, the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers was held across the state on Sunday, with rigorous security measures in place, including the suspension of mobile Internet access in several regions.
Five persons were arrested in Bikaner with Bluetooth-enabled footwear for allegedly attempting to cheat in the teacher recruitment exam. The exam, which was held in two shifts at 3,993 centers throughout 33 districts and was administered by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, was held in two shifts. There were 16.51 lakh candidates who had registered for it.
