Australia prohibits direct flights from India

Australia has taken a big step in view of the threat of Coronavirus growing rapidly in India.  Australia has banned direct flights coming from India till 15 May.  

The decision has been taken by the Prime Minister of the country, Scott Morrison, in view of the epidemic cases.


 Under this, no flight from India will go to Australia till May 15.  Let us tell you before that many other countries have stopped flights coming from India.

 In view of the ever increasing coronavirus crisis in India, Australia has decided to stop direct passenger flights from India till 15 May.  Australian PM Scott Morrison made the decision on Tuesday.


 At present, new daily corona patients are coming out in India.  This is the reason why many countries have banned flights coming from India.  These include Thailand, Singapore, Bangladesh and the UK.
 India’s condition is continuously deteriorating due to coronavirus infection. 

second wave of coronavirus infection has caused havoc to India.  During the last 24 hours, 3 lakh 23 thousand 144 new cases of infection have been reported from across the country.


 According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has increased to 1.76 million 36 thousand 307.

  In this, the number of active cases has reached 28 lakh 82 thousand 204.  While 1 crore 45 lakh 56 thousand 209 people have been cured of this disease.

 Let us tell you that while some countries have banned direct flights from India on precautionary times, many countries have also extended their helping hand amid the growing crisis of this epidemic.  In view of the worsening situation of Coronavirus in India, a helping hand is being extended from all over the world.


 In this series, CEOs of America’s top 40 companies have formed a global workforce to help India in the fight against Corona.  Commitments have been made to send 20,000 oxygen machines to India in the next few weeks.
