There is a second wave of corona virus spread in the country, which is spreading the infection in a dangerous way.

In the last several days, more than three lakh cases of coronavirus are coming in the country and more than two thousand people are dying.  However, on Tuesday, a slight decline has been observed in the daily cases of corona.

More than 3.23 lakh cases were registered in the last 24 hours.  Here Karuna Shukla, niece of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, has died from Corona.  Railways have so far supplied 450 tonnes of oxygen.

A case of black marketing of Remedicivir drug has come to light in Goregaon, Mumbai.  From the kitchen of Goregaon hotel, Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested five people who were black marketing Remedesivir.

26 vials have been seized from them.  These people were selling a violin for Rs 20,000-25,000.

Indian Railways informed that till today morning 450 tonnes of oxygen has been supplied to the country.  At the same time, six loaded tankers are on the way, which will be taken from Bokaro to Jabalpur and Mandideep.

The US biopharmaceutical company has announced a move to increase the availability of Remadecivir drug used in the treatment of covid-19 patients in India.

Gilead Sciences Chief Commercial Officer Johanna Mercier said the recent increase in cases of covid-19 in India has had a disastrous effect on people and has led to unforeseen pressure on the health system.

The company announced that it will provide technical support to its voluntary licensing partners and support the addition of new local manufacturing companies and the delivery of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) to rapidly increase production of Remedesivir.

The company said that Gilead will donate 450,000 vials of Vekleri (Remedesivir) for the immediate help of Indian patients.
