My mother i.e. Bharat mata is ill, now I will return only after getting her free … These were the last words that Shaheed Bhagat Singh used to say to the residents of Aligarh.  He changed his dress for 18 months to about 40 km from the headquarters.  The village of the distant Pisawa region lived in Shadipur.  While living here, he also worked to educate the children while operating the school.
The family of freedom fighter Todar Singh, resident of village Shadipur in Aligarh, say that the family members of Shaheed Bhagat Singh had fled the house in December 1923 when the pressure of marriage increased.  At the Kanpur meeting, revolutionary Ganesh Shakar Vidyarthi asked Todar Singh to take Bhagat Singh with him to Aligarh.  Bhagat Singh was changing a few times in the Khereshwar temple adjoining the city.  When he reached the village Shadipur, he was introduced in the name of Balwant Singh.  He opened the National School and not only inspired the children to become good human beings, but also gave the immortal message of dying for the sake of the country.
A martyr-e-Azam Bhagat Singh told the people that they would have to go.  When the villagers asked, they got the answer that their mother was ill.  After which the people of the village went to leave at Khurja station.  Till then people did not know that there was no one else living among them but Bhagat Singh.  Going from here, Bhagat Singh activated the Naujawan Sabha in Lahore.  His first arrest came from Lahore in 1927, when a bombing occurred on the occasion of Dussehra.  On 17 August 1928, Bhagat killed Sanders and escaped.  On 8 April 1929, a bomb was hurled in the Central Assembly (today’s Parliament) and arrested.  On March 21, 1931, two days before Fasi, Todar Singh also met Bhagat Singh in Lahore Jail.
Pamphlet distributed in the love of country He used to distribute pamphlets of patriotism to the people from here to make bricks ring from brick to brick.  Tha  Todar Singh had arranged a cyclostyle for him.  He would write pamphlets by hand and print them with cyclostyle and distribute them through children.  One day Bhagat Singh told the villagers that he would now go to his house.  People asked the reason?  Then Bhagat Singh said to Baba, my mother is ill, I have to go
Events are held on 23 March on Martyrdom Day The people of Shadipur village have been celebrating Martyrdom Day in the village.  Martyr’s Day will be celebrated in the village on Tuesday as well.  In which programs like Ragini etc. will be organized.
