Prime Minister Narendra Modi is India’s “most successful PM,” according to Home Minister Amit Shah, who credited him with introducing “Ramrajya” to the country in 2014. People made a “patient decision” and elected the BJP to power with an absolute majority for the first time in 30 years, according to Amit Shah.
“After the 1960s, till 2014, people questioned whether this multi-party system will work. By 2014, the dream of Ramrajya (Lord Ram’s ideal rule) was left shattered,” Mr. Shah said at a function to mark 20 years of PM Modi as head of governments – in Gujarat and at the Centre.
