Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav slammed the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government at the Centre and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over unemployment and lack of development in the country and Bihar, speaking at a public meeting in Tarapur for the first time in six years ahead of the upcoming by-polls.
Mr. Prasad said in Patna that he had spoken to Congress president Sonia Gandhi about calling a gathering of “all like-minded persons and parties,” but this was later denied as “fabricated and misleading” by State Congress officials.
