Afghan Passports with Indian Visas are Seized by Urdu-Speaking Guys Who Attack a Kabul Office

Several unidentified Urdu-speaking individuals forced their way into an office in Kabul dealing with Indian visas for distribution on behalf of the Indian Missions in Afghanistan and seized an unknown number of Afghan passports with stamped Indian visas, triggering a red alert within Indian security agencies handling immigration. The incident occurred on August 15, the day the Taliban took control of Kabul following a quick retreat by US forces.

According to sources familiar with the situation, Indian immigration services have been informed of the seizure of Afghan passports with Indian visas, citing a severe concern that these documents could be used to fabricate false passports for terrorists in the future.

While it is unclear whose organization was behind the attack on the Indian visa outsourcing firm in Kabul, the invaders were speaking Urdu, which raises suspicions about Pakistan.
