The government of Gujarat on 24 June declared that vaccination against COVID-19 was necessary for managers, owners, and workers in the 18 cities and municipalities where the evening curfew is established by 30 June at the latest, and by 10 July in the remainder of the state. If the regulations of the state are not complied with, the establishment could be shut down, the declaration made by the state information department specified.
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani held a central board meeting to impose the night curfew to 18 of the 36 state cities.
