The overall number of active containment zones in Nashik city has decreased even further as the number of registered active patients has decreased. In the previous seven days, the area’s active containment zones had decreased by 37%.
The number of registered containment zones has decreased from 407 on June 15 to 256 now.
There are 90 active containment zones in Cidco, 50 in Panchavati, and 45 in the Nashik Road division, with the remaining 71 in the Nashik East, Nashik West, and Satpur divisions.
According to Bapusaheb Nagargoje, medical superintendent of Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC), the limitations placed by the state government and district authorities have shown positive effects, resulting in a reduction in the number of cases reported.
