Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Monday that so far 11 Rafale aircraft have arrived in India and by March 17 more such aircraft will be delivered to India.This information was given to the Rajya Sabha by the Defense Minister in response to a supplementary question during the Question Hour. He said, “So far 11 Rafale aircraft have arrived in India and by March 17 more such aircraft will be delivered to India. India will get full Rafale by April 2022. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also said, “After Rafale was handed over to India from France, it was of national importance to include him in the Air Force.” In the past there have been similar programs to include purchased aircraft in the Air Force, but this time the program was big because there were bilateral talks also. The French side was led by the Defense Minister and I was led by the Indian side. ” In response to another supplementary question, the Defense Minister told the House that 101 materials have been identified which will not be imported from other countries but it has been decided to manufacture them indigenously. Rajnath Singh also said that the government is fully emphasizing on indigenization.
