BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga on Wednesday said he was arrested by the Punjab Police like a terrorist for asking AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal about his promises to act against the accused in the Guru Granth Sahib sacrilege case, drug mafia, and Khalistani separatists in the state. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is in power in Delhi and Punjab, with Mr. Kejriwal the chief minister in the national capital and Bhagwant Singh Mann the chief minister in the state.
Mr. Bagga asserted that he will keep questioning Mr. Kejriwal about his pledge to act toward those who disrespected the Guru Granth Sahib in Punjab, the drug mafia, and separatists trying to raise Khalistan slogans in the state, during his first press conference after his striking imprisonment that saw the police forces of Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi in a tussle.
