Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath taunted the Sapa in both houses of the Legislature with figures to discuss the budget and asked why the word “socialist” was called “criminal”. Yogi said, socialist leaders do not have the courage to accept the truth. With this, CM Yogi not only revealed the achievements of his government for four years, but also questioned the working of the previous Sapa government. Speaking in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Yogi Adityanath referred to the Hathras incident in which a man who was out on bail after a 2018 arrest in a molestation case allegedly shot and killed the victim’s father. The BJP is pointing to a Facebook account which claimed that the accused is a Samajwadi Party worker. Adityanath’s remarks came after a 50-year-old man shot and killed by Gaurav Sharma in Hathras district on Monday accused of molesting the victim’s daughter. The CM ordered strict action in the matter and directed the authorities to implement the stringent National Security Act (NSA). Let me tell you, the main opposition party tried to surround the government in the case of killing of the farmer in Hathras. Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have pulled up the state government on this issue. Sapa chief Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday tweeted that women in Uttar Pradesh have lost hope of getting justice from the state government and tagged a video of the same girl, whose father was shot and killed in Hathras.
