The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued new weather forecasts on Sunday, forecasting significant rainfall in certain regions from July 26 to July 29. Rainfall momentum is likely to intensify across the Western Himalayan Region and surrounding plains of northwest India beginning on July 26th, as per reports.
During the 26th-29th of July, the IMD predicts moderately extensive to pervasive rainfall with scattered heavy to very heavy rainfall across Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. It has also forecasted comparable rainfall activities across Uttarakhand from July 25th to July 29th, as well as over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad.
