BJP MP Shantanu Thakur informed that this rally is being organized keeping in mind the Matua community of Bengal. Amit Shah will address the community during the rally at 3:30 pm. It is worth mentioning that earlier this rally was scheduled to be held on 30 January, but it was canceled due to the bombings in Delhi.

After the rally program canceled on 30 January, Shah addressed a rally in Bengal through video conferencing on 31 January. During this, he had targeted the Bengal government and said that the Modi government at the Center is working for ‘public welfare’ and Mamata Banerjee’s government in Bengal is working towards ‘nephew welfare’.
Former BJP president and Union Home Minister Shah said that under Mamata Banerjee, the situation in Bengal has become worse than the Left regime. Chief Minister Mamata has not been able to live up to the aspirations of the people of Bengal, so the Trinamool leaders are now joining the BJP. Shah also said that Mamata Banerjee should do self-determination. Apart from the Union Home Minister, BJP President JP Nadda also slammed Mamata Banerjee. He ruled in Bengal under this government, only dictatorship, politicization of administration, criminalization of police and institutionalization of corruption. “Nadda further said that the health of the people of Bengal was taken care of by Prime Minister Modi. Now Chief Minister Mamata will go out of the way. The hurdle will end and the people of Bengal will also get the benefit of Prime Minister Modi’s Ayushman Bharat Scheme.
