As the anger of the farmers against the agricultural law is increasing, in the same way, the attitude of the Shiromani Akali Dal is also becoming strict about the Modi government and the BJP.  On the issue of farmers, the Akali Dal first left the ministerial chair at the center, then broke with the NDA and now has opened a front against the BJP.  Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal said that those opposing the agricultural laws are being called piecemeal gangs, whereas in reality the BJP is the real piecemeal gang.  This step of the Akali, who has taken a sharp stand against the BJP, is being considered as a big bet to cultivate his slipping political land in Punjab along with the farmers.
 Akali power against BJP
Sukhbir Singh Badal said on Tuesday (December 15) that BJP has broken national unity into pieces, shamelessly incited Hindus against Muslims and is now doing so against their Sikh brothers.  BJP is pushing patriotic Punjab into communal fire.  Sukhbir alleged that the policies of Modi government are going to break the brotherhood of the country.  Sukhbir Badal, while referring to the resignation of his wife Harsimrat Kaur Badal, asked whether she has become a traitor by resigning from the Center.  Did the Akali Dal become a traitor by breaking political ties with the BJP.  Former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has become a traitor by returning the Padma Vibhushan.
