Weather Today: Snowfall in the hilly states and rain in the plains, the weather will remain like this for the next 1-2 days

The month of February has started but the winter is not taking its name. Winter has returned to North India, the land is covered with snow sheets in the three hill states. In most of the hill stations, the mercury has gone below zero. Due to which the temperature in many plains states including Delhi-NCR was recorded.
Even today, there is a possibility of rain in many states of North India including Delhi-NCR. A few days ago people got some relief from the cold, but fresh snowfall has once again changed the weather. Rainfall occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi NCR.
According to the Meteorological Department, due to western disturbance, the weather changed. Ludhiana in Punjab also received heavy rainfall, due to which the temperature dropped during the day. According to the Meteorological Department, the condition of the weather is going to be like this for the next one to two days.
The Meteorological Department has predicted rain on Friday i.e. February 5. The minimum temperature is expected to remain normal for the next three days. Snowfall was observed in three mountainous regions of North India, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand.

In these states, the Earth has once covered the ice sheet and minimum mercury is again diving. Manali in Himachal Pradesh is snowed, while Shimla has been frozen after several days of snow. On one hand, the tourists are enjoying lunches in Manali and on the other hand snow is being removed from the machines of JCB in Shimla.Not only this, Uttarakhand is also experiencing snowfall. A thick sheet of snow has been laid at Auli in Chamoli district. The night temperature in Auli has gone below zero. According to the Meteorological Department, there could be snowfall for the next one to two days. Apart from Auli, Badrinath, Hemkunt Sahib and Valley of Flowers have also been snowed.
