Due to severe rain in Mumbai and the precipitation in the Konkan area, the Central Railway announced on Friday that 30 trains had been canceled, 12 had been diverted, and 8 had been short-circuited.

People living in mountainous and landslide-prone regions of the Konkan region are being relocated, according to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, who also professed sadness over the loss of human life in a landslide in Raigad district.

According to a message from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), CM Thackeray urged citizens to work with the local authorities in the migration of people of hazardous coastal regions.
