The Minister of Petroleum Dharmendra Pradhan stated on Sunday that he is aware that growing oil and gas costs are difficult, but it cannot be reduced, because the administration saves money for welfare programs.

The cost of the most commonly used car fuel rose steeply in recent days, with petrol breaking the 100 mark in parts of India’s cities.

“I agree that current rates of gasoline for people are bad, however whether central/state, over 35,000 crore are spent on vaccinations in one year. We are saving money to spend on charity programmes in such desperate times,” ANI reported.
