The Kolkata High Court gave a big relief to the BJP on Thursday. The High Court refused to stay the Rath Yatra being taken out by the party.The BJP is taking out a rath yatra before the assembly elections in the state. The yatra is being carried out in five blocks, which will pass through all the constituencies. A public interest litigation was filed against this BJP’s Rath Yatra in the Kolkata High Court. It was said that the proposed Rath Yatra of BJP may affect the situation of Covid-19 and law and order in the state.Assembly elections are due in West Bengal this year. In such a situation, all parties are busy preparing to turn people towards themselves. In this episode, BJP is going to take out the Rath Yatra in the months of February and March. A petition was filed in the Kolkata High Court regarding this proposed rath yatra of BJP. It is being said that the Mamta government is also not in the mood to allow the BJP to take out the yatra. However, TMC has clarified that it has not refused to allow any travel. BJP leaders had also met the Election Commission regarding this.
