Bihar, sections of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, and Goa, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), are projected to see widespread rainfall activity through September 2. The IMD warned in its week’s weather forecast that heavy rains could hit the Konkan area and Goa on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The weather agency predicts widespread rainfall activity in the southern half of the country over the next 24 hours, with Telangana receiving isolated very heavy amounts today.
