Prime Minister Modi met with Japanese business leaders in Tokyo on Monday. India will work for an inclusive and flexible Indo-Pacific Economic Framework, he said earlier in the day (IPEF). He was presenting at the IPEF’s Tokyo launch event. The Prime Minister is in Tokyo for a two-day visit to attend the Quad Summit on May 24.
To encourage more investment in India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi proposed a ‘Japan Week’ to recognize Japan’s contribution to the country’s development. Modi hosted a roundtable discussion with Japanese business leaders, which included top executives and CEOs from 34 Japanese companies. The majority of these businesses invest and operate in India.
