Pakistan Navy Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf is on a three-day official visit to Bangladesh aimed at promoting cooperation between the naval forces of both countries.

Meeting with Bangladesh Navy Leadership

During his visit, Admiral Ashraf paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Navy Chief Admiral M Nazmul Hasan at the Naval Headquarters in Banani, Dhaka The Bangladesh Navy welcomed him with full military honors, including a Guard of Honour, which Admiral Ashraf inspected before receiving the salute.

Discussions on Naval Cooperation

In their meeting, the two naval chiefs exchanged greetings and held discussions focused on professional collaboration and training opportunities between the Pakistan Navy and the Bangladesh Navy Both sides expressed a shared commitment to strengthening their partnership through mutual understanding and continued cooperation.

Delegation and Officials Present

The meeting was attended by senior officials including members of the Pakistan Navy delegation, the Pakistan High Commissioner, the Defense Attaché, PSOs from Navy Headquarters, and high-ranking military officers, reflecting the importance of the visit for both nations.
