According to ThePrint, Pakistan’s National Security Adviser Moeed Yusuf and Chinese delegates are unlikely to visit India to attend meetings on the situation in Afghanistan hosted by India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval later this month.
Yusuf turned rejected an offer from India last month, according to multiple diplomatic sources, citing the fact that his country will not attend any summit where the Taliban is not represented. The NSA-level meetings, which were supposed to take place between 10 and 13 November, are now likely to take place without Pakistan and China, according to the sources. Russia, Iran, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan have also been invited to the meeting.
