The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) intends to hold optional board examinations for students who are dissatisfied with the assessment criteria in August and September. The board stated in a supplemental document filed in the Supreme Court that the tests will be held between August 15 and September 15, subject to favorable Covid-19 pandemic circumstances.

The board further stated that the Class 12 Board Examination 2021 results would be released on July 31.

The Supreme Court delayed the hearing on CBSE class 12 evaluation standards to tomorrow earlier today. The court stated that, in general, it agrees with the evaluation method, but that it will hear the petitioners before making any modifications.
