One Direction’s Liam Payne Breaks Off Engagement

Less than a year after it was disclosed, One Direction star Liam Payne broke his engagement with the American model, Maya Henry. He verified the breakup at the podcast The Diary of a CEO, that during lock-down it happened.

Payne claimed in his “hurting others” he’s ‘disappointed’ himself, and he ‘works’ on his emotions. The two were initially caught together in 2019, before confirming their engagement in August 2020 during a series of public appearances.

Liam said to his podcast host Steven Bartlett: “I think that I am more disappointed in myself at this moment than anywhere else. I continue to damage others. This bothers me. It bothers me. I wasn’t very good at relationships and at this time I know what my pattern is in partnerships.”
