Police in India’s capital, New Delhi, detained 14 persons in relation to violent skirmishes involving Hindus and Muslims during one Hindu religious parade. Scuffles disrupted the parade at a celebration in Jahangirpuri, a New Delhi neighborhood, injuring six policemen and numerous people. In a tweet on Sunday, the police stated, “Remaining rioters are being identified for stern legal action.” There were no known fatalities as a result of the incident.
