Corona virus infection is increasing continuously in the country. In the capital Delhi, more than 7 thousand new cases of corona are coming out every day. Crowd in the markets during festivals was also a major reason for spreading the infection. Meanwhile, the Union Home Ministry has issued guidelines on Wednesday. The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued guidelines for monitoring, control and caution. The government guidelines will be effective from December 1 and will remain in force till December 31.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has directed the States / Union Territories to take strict measures for prevention of corona virus, SOP on various activities and mandatory measures to control congestion.
At the same time, only necessary activities are allowed in the Containment Zone. That is, strictly in the Containment Zone will be applicable throughout December. Local district, police and municipal officials will be responsible to ensure that the prescribed containment measures are strictly followed and the State / Union Territory Government will ensure the accountability of the officials concerned.
The government’s focus is to strengthen the control over the corona infection. Recently, in some states, due to increasing cases of corona, emphasis has been given on caution. The Home Ministry said that based on their assessment of the condition of the corona epidemic, states / UTs can only impose local restrictions like night curfew in prohibited areas.
According to the government guidelines, the surveillance team will monitor from door to door and immediate isolation of Corona patients with treatment facilities will be ensured. At the same time, the use of the Arogya Setu mobile app will continue to be encouraged. Persons above 65 years of age, pregnant women and children below 10 years have been advised to stay indoors.
There is no restriction on inter-state and intra-state movements. There will be no need to take any kind of permission for such a movement. On behalf of the Ministry of Home Affairs, it was said that the respective states and Union Territories of those cities where the weekly case positive rate is more than 10 percent, should implement office timings and other measures in a phased manner so that more at a time Employees could not come and social distancing could be ensured.
