The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday raided 10 different locations, including Delhi, Kerala and Karnataka, against a group of individuals linked to the Islamic State (IS). It is being told that the investigation agency’s raid is related to a new case filed 48 hours ago. According to the report, the investigating agency was monitoring a group of 6-7 individuals for the past few days.
According to the information received, after the report of the conspiracy module was being busted from Pakistan, these individuals were radicalized on social media by Pakistan-based al-Qaeda terrorists and attacked several places including the National Capital Region.
The National Investigation Agency is taking major action against the Islamic State (IS) module. NIA raids are going on at seven places across the country including Delhi. According to the information received, several agencies are running search operations in seven different places in Delhi, Karnataka and Kerala. In this, raids are going on in Jafrabad area in Delhi. According to the report, the people whose premises are being raided are educated people who have been allegedly radicalized by IS groups, they can be arrested after interrogation.
