Maharashtra witnessed to record 10,000 fresh Covid-19 cases yesterday, taking the entire state to the wide tally of cases to 5,887,853. Yesterday, the state also witnessed 406 Covid deaths, taking the accumulative deaths to 106,367.
The official report stated that the number of recoveries is 5,616,857, after 8,104 people recovered from the infection. According to the state health bulletin the capital city of Mumbai recorded 721 new COVId-19 cases and 24 deaths on Friday. Friday’s tally marks a reduction from the 12,207 cases recorded on Thursday, and a surge from the 10,989 Covid-19 cases recorded last Wednesday. The death tariff in Maharashtra also went up on Friday after 406 more deaths were recorded compared to 393 fatalities reported the day before.
