With 778 people added up after tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Maharashtra, the total number of confirmed cases in the state rose to 6,427 on Friday. The health department of the state, stated that 14 more deaths were reported, raising the death toll to 283.
The Union Health Ministry projected that Mumbai as a possibility of having have 6.50 lakh, COVID-19 patients, by 15 May, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) has estimated that positive cases could reach 60,000 to 70,000 by mid-May.
