On Monday, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav addressed the party’s 25th foundation day live on video from Delhi, he formally anointed Tejashwi as the next party chief.
Lalu, who is ill and is recuperating at the official residence of his daughter and Rajya Sabha member Misa Bharti in Delhi after his release on bail in the fodder scam, could not attend the celebration in Patna.
In His address, Lalu said “…if tejashwi and rabri had not brought me to AIIMS in Delhi from Ranchi, i would have died.”
“I was worried about Tejashwi’s performance during the assembly polls. At such a young age, he took on them all and the party won so many (75) assembly seats,”
Lalu said , adding that Tejaswi had set the agenda for the polls by announcing to give 10,000 jobs. “The BJP people promised jobs in lakhs. Why don’t they fulfil the promise,” asked Lalu.
