Today this program of celebration is named ‘Amrit Mahotsav of Independence’. Digital exhibitions were inaugurated at seven venues under the ‘Independence of Amrit Mahotsav’, celebrated to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the country’s independence.PM Modi paid obeisance to Bapu at Abhay Ghat and then launched the Amrit Mahotsav.

A total of 37 state-level exhibitions will be inaugurated by eminent people on this occasion. PM Modi will shortly flag off the symbolic Dandi March from Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad. This symbolic Dandi March will be carried out on the same route on which 91 years ago Gandhiji broke the Dandi March and broke the salt law. On this day in 1930, Mahatma Gandhi started the Dandi March and broke the Salt Law. PM Modi will flag off the Dandi March today from the Sabarmati Ashram as part of the Amrit Mahotsava program to complete 75 years of India’s independence.

According to the information, today Union Minister Prakash Javadekar will inaugurate the exhibitions in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, Bengaluru, Pune, Bhubaneswar, Moirang district of Manipur and Patna in Bihar. Dandi March, Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Patel and other great men participating in the freedom movement will also be kept at the center. 75 years of India’s independence will be completed next year, and 75 weeks before that, the Amrit Mahotsava is beginning, which will last till 2023 Independence Day.
