Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor opens up about her experience during her second pregnancy. The actress said that she generally follows a vegan diet but during her second pregnancy she became a ‘ravenous’ meat-eater. Earlier, this year she and her husband Saif Ali Khan welcomed their second child ‘Jeh’. Later on, the duo informed the media that they’ve named him Jehangir.

The actress recently launched her self-written book The Pregnancy Bible where she revealed her food cravings during her pregnancy. She wrote, “When not pregnant, I love being vegetarian. But I got ravenous for meat while pregnant and craved cold cuts, salt and soy. It was as if I was another person.”

She also said that she ate too much that her fingers were swelled up. “I took off my rings by my eighth month. Forced to choose between my pepperoni and my wedding ring, I chose pepperoni!” she revealed.
