Health Ministry holds meeting with eight states amid rising corona cases

Corona infection is once again spreading in many states of the country. The Union Health Ministry has already become aware of this. The ministry today held a meeting with the heads of eight states and union territories and issued advisory to deal with the corona. The ministry has asked the Corona affected states to pay special attention to the test, track and treatment. Rajesh Bhushan, Secretary, Ministry of Health and Dr. V Paul, Member, NITI Aayog, have held a meeting with Health Secretaries and MDs of Haryana, Andhra Pradesh today. In the meantime, he said in eight states and union territories Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Goa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi and Chandigarh that he has been asked to increase testing, speed up tracing and vaccination for priority groups in the worst districts. The Ministry of Health has also reviewed ongoing public health measures to monitor, prevent and manage the coming cases of corona in these eight states and union territories.
